Guided by the logic of the eye, Donald and his team draw inspiration from the beauty found in everyday life: the quality of light, the colors of nature, and the harmony of proportion, symmetry, and balance. Their approach is instinctive yet deliberate, grounded in an appreciation for the elements that give a space its character and soul.
Over the past thirty years, Donald’s exacting eye and distinctive vision have earned the Studio a loyal following for its interpretation of interior design and architecture—clean, classic, comfortable, and refined.

About Donald
Donald Hadsell is an award-winning interior designer based in Los Angeles. Originally from San Francisco, he earned a BFA in Interior Architecture from California College of Arts and Crafts.
He spent thirteen years working throughout the Bay Area, designing, residential, commercial, restaurant, and retail spaces before relocating to Southern California. In 2002, Donald joined the studio of the legendary Rose Tarlow, an experience that further informed his design sensibility. In 2008, he established his own studio, bringing together a modern sensibility and a classical approach to interior design and architecture.
